I am excited, yes excited, at the prospect of a ban on plastic bags or at least a levy, in London. I get frustrated and annoyed at shop assistants offering to double my bags when I don’t even want to use one. I know, I know, I should take one with me when I go out or at least take a shopping bag – believe me I have plenty and have even made one for myself.The problem is that I have to carry so much with me that carrying one more thing is the last thing that I want todo. I also have a notoriously bad member and simply forget.
